Easter workshops coming up…

It’s just weeks until the Easter break which means our term-time crews are well into Challenge Term, and it’s not long until our mega-popular Easter workshops – this year, our favourite 2 day Stop Motion Animation workshop is back, and we will also be running our very first Virtual Reality workshop for 2 days too! You can find out more info on how to book in on our workshops page.

The crews at the term-time film school have been working on a 10-week challenge to produce a magazine programme using the latest in new technology – including our brand new 360 degree camera! Be sure to check out our Facebook, Vimeo and YouTube over Easter to see who wins challenge term and watch the final programmes.

Looking back at 2015

What a great year it has been in 2015! Here at Kids Camera Action! we’ve had a fantastic time and have enjoyed welcoming hundreds of kids through our doors over the year. Our free Taster Day was a massive success with lots of you popping in to try their hand at filming, stunts, green screen, special effects makeup and editing! We had a great Summer School, spent a fab week at Forres Sandle Manor, and worked up some movie magic at our Wizardry Workshop at Yarrells School. Not to mention a bumper year at our ever-popular Saturday Morning Term-time Film School! Thank you so much to all the parents and guardians who have brought along their young film-makers to join in the fun! You can watch all the videos online on our Vimeo channel now!

Pinewood Calling!

We are excited to announce that the teaser trailer made by KCA teacher Pete Stanley-Ward has now been awarded full funding to make a longer version. This means that once Pete has finished teaching KCA! crews in the summer he will then head to the famous Pinewood Studios to direct ‘Litterbugs’ – a short film that he has co-written with his wife, Natalie, aimed at the family market. Congratulations Pete – what talent we have at KCA!
