After a brilliant first week back, we have to temporarily shut down again! It was great to get back to filming with the kids last Saturday, and the crew worked on a mini-movie shot in just over an hour- I loved seeing how creative they were to tell an exciting story within the safety guidelines we gave them. Kids Camera Action

Our second Intermediate Certificate film is A Boy and his Clone by Harry. Harry planned out his movie as well as starring as both characters! He makes great use of a split screen effect to have his double on screen at the same time as him - this took lots of thought and planning to get the effect to work just right - and it is topped off by a dash of his signature comedy style! We love it!

Kids Camera Action

Over the summer, we've been coaching some of our regular crew remotely to help them complete their Intermediate Certificate. This project requires the students to develop an idea with no dialogue, write a script, do a script breakdown, storyboard and risk assessment with our help, then shoot and edit their films at home.

We're delighted to share the first of the completed films - Louis shot this at home and even designed and animated his own 3D creature, showing some fantastic technical skill and creativity! Well done Louis!
