We also provide bespoke workshops in schools tailored to the curriculum or to a current theme. All our courses give children the chance to write, film and star in their own fantastic film creations! We create our crews by looking at age and ability to enable children to work at a pace most suited to them. The Spring term is the ‘KCA Challenge’ when the groups compete against each other in a set challenge.
Summer term is the ‘film’ term where our crews make their own mini feature film over 10 weeks and then see their films screened at their own red carpet premiere.
In the Autumn ‘Freestyle’ Term, our KIDS CAMERA ACTION crews make all sorts of different programmes for our online TV station on Vimeo and work on their filmmaking skills- we’ve made cookery shows, online murder mysteries, “mockumentaries” and news programmes in the past.
In the Summer holidays we run our 3 Day Summer Film School. Students spend the time working as a film crew making their own mini feature film which is then screened at a special glittering red carpet KIDS CAMERA ACTION! Premiere in the autumn. Free breakfast club to help working parents.

An action-packed filmmaking workshop in the woodland at Kingston Lacy for 8 - 14 yrs.
During the session, the crew will have the chance to film, direct and star in a mini-movie set in the woodlands at Kingston Lacy, Wimborne.
Each workshop is limited to 12 places to ensure the kids get plenty of opportunity for hands-on filming, coached by our team of professional filmmakers. This is a great chance to make some new friends, get creative, and learn some tips and tricks of the film industry - all in the beautiful natural surroundings of the woodland area!

This workshop allows you to get some hands-on experience of stop-motion animation! Our expert animator shows you how to create 3D backdrops, crazy characters and then animate your own mini-story. The sky really is the limit in this workshop – in the past, we’ve seen exploding volcanoes, monkeys getting married, zombie basketball and alien invasions! Limited places.

We offer action-packed filmmaking workshops in local schools activity weeks for Yrs 2 – 11, and we also host all sorts of other workshops, from one-off events to regular weekly film clubs. We create bespoke workshops to fit student and curriculum requirements working in both mainstream and special needs education.
